Stuff

I decided to turn comments back on. Just on a whim. We'll see what happens.

In other news: Fern is growing like a weed. She's getting really cute and full of personality. She's also a little schemer. We'll have to watch her closely. Today I watched her figure out how to get to a doll I had put up away from her. :\

We've had a lousy winter, weatherwise. We did get one storm last week. All the weather people had said minimum 12 inches. We got two. I feel gyp'd.

This year is my 20 year class reunion. *gulp*. I'm still not sure if I'm going. Probably not. Last time I only knew one person. And she didn't like me at all during high school lol.

I've been kicking around the idea of starting a podcast. I have two different directions I could go. I'm not sure which one I'd enjoy more. And I'm not sure which one would keep my interest longer. . . . I'll have to keep thinking on this. Whatever, I would like to either put it aside or have the first podcast ready to go the second Thursday of next month.

I'm learning knitting! *gasp* Finally after all these years, I'm learning how to knit. I was crocheting a bedspread - actually for the past 18 months or so. And I'm going in rounds, dc, dc, dc, dc, popcorn, dc dc dc dc, c, c, c, c, ad naseum. Totally bored and unchallenged. It struck me then that I have been crocheting for nearly 30 years. Yikes. And I'm bored! There are only so many double crochet and chain combos you can do. It was then I decided that this year I'm finally going to teach myself how to knit. So right now, I'm making a hat. lol. It's pretty funky. It's made of 26 triangles. I have about .... *counts* .... 11 so far. They go pretty quick.

I'm going to add a side bar sometime today of my WIPs (works in progress), UFOs (unfinished objects) and whatever else all those abbreviations mean.

And with that, I'm off to find some code.
