I love the internet

Ahhhh..... I love the internet. This is what I just did - and have been doing for a littel while now. I find a subject that I am interested in. In this case, Sewing. So I go over to Amazon and check out their books and reviews. I find a book that appeals the most to me. In this case, The Complete Book of Sewing by DK Publishing.

After having picked a book, I go to my online library resource. Go to your library to find if they are online, and if so, where. I plug in the name of the book, search the system to see if they have it. They do! So I secure a hold on it and ask for it to be sent to my local library branch. In the meantime, they show other related books - so I grab one of those too! (It was about sergers).

Now tell me. Is that cool or what??

Juniper Flats

Juniper Flats area. Beautiful isn't it? I love those big rocks. Pretty soon it will be too hot and "snakey" out there. But right now, it calls...

What to do . . .

I'm still trying to decide what I am going to do about my web site problem. Here's what happened - I think. I am running software called "Movable Type". There's a back end interface that I put my text and images and that automatically updates my web site online. Well, something got corrupted and slowly there's been a melt down going on. Finally it caught up to me yesterday and my login is now gone too. *sigh*

I am kicking around several ideas to correct this. One - Reupload the entire site. Two - upload entirely new software then bring it "live" when it's ready. I'm leaning toward idea One right now.

Anyway, what I was going to say yesterday: IT'S SPRING!! We went to the desert last week. Not too far from home. We went to close where the Bowen Ranch entrance is. Anyway, we saw a small seasonal stream and lots of wildflowers. Spring has sprung!!

Ack!

Ack! I totally borked my web site! I don't have time to correct it right now so just know that YES I am aware of it. NO there won't be any updates for a while. And YES I am totally BUMMED about it  Ok. Breath. In and Out.

Another web site concerning the Mountain Communities of the San Bernardino mountains. Thank you for visiting :o)
